Two Factor Authentication
Registry Perfect provides an option to secure your account with two factor authentication. This is to prevent unwanted access to your account.
Registry Perfect offers app-based authenticator 2fa that is compatible with Google Authenticator, Authy, and any other app authenticator that utilizes the Time-Based One-Time Password standard.
To turn on two factor authentication, navigate to the Account -> Security Settings page. From there, you will see the status of whether or not Two Factor Authentication is turned on.
To turn it on, click the button marked ‘Turn on 2FA’. You will be brought to a screen to turn on 2FA.
Scan the QR code on the screen or copy and paste the code into your authenticator app. Then, confirm the 6 digit code matches by entering it and clicking ‘confirm’. Once you have confirmed, two-factor authentication will be turned on and will be required to log in to your account.
