Integrating with The Knot
Linking to Your Registry from your Wedding Website from The Knot
The Knot is a popular tool to host your wedding website.
Registry Perfect is fully compatible with The Knot. Here is a guide to using Registry Perfect as your registry if you are using The Knot for your wedding website.
1) Login to your account on The Knot.
2) Click on Registry on the Top Nav Bar.
3) Click on 'Add Store Registries'
4) Scroll down on the 'Sync Other Registries' page and go to 'Option 2 - Link Your Store Registries'
5) Now, go back to Registry Perfect and copy your Registry Perfect registry link:
You can copy directly from the 'All Registries' page, from the 'Manage Registry' page, or right after you have just published your registry.
6) Now, with your link copied, go back to The Knot, select 'Another Store' under 'Select a Store', and name your registry 'Registry Perfect' and add in your link.
7) Then your registry is linked! 👍
🚨 Note - We Strongly Recommend Against Linking to Multiple Registries from The Knot
Linking to multiple registries on The Knot will auto-import all your items and is likely to confuse your guests. If you have other registries you want to use with Registry Perfect, we recommend importing them into your Registry Perfect registry instead.
If you link to multiple registries, The Knot will auto import items and your registry will look like this:
This will likely lead to guest confusion and may mean you don't get flexibility on your gift purchases!
If you want items from multiple registries, add them all to your Registry Perfect registry instead!
Once your Registry Perfect registry is all set up as your only registry on The Knot, the 'Registry' page on your site should look like this:
Then, you're good to go! Make sure you request that your guests buy from Registry Perfect, and you will get the flexibility that you crave. Cheers!
